ScoopAble’s Create the Flavor Classroom Challenge

Dream it up. Create it. We could make it!

Calling all creative classrooms! ScoopAble is inviting students to work together and create an October-inspired ice cream flavor.

Your class will dream up the flavor, give it a name, choose the mix-ins, and tell us why it should become a ScoopAble limited-time flavor.

Then, ScoopAble will choose a group of finalists and the community will vote for the winner.

The Winning Class Receives

The winning classroom will receive a ScoopAble ice cream party!

Their winning flavor will also be made and featured at ScoopAble as a limited-time October flavor.

Contest Timeline

August 28
Create the Flavor Classroom Challenge opens.

September 14
Flavor submissions close.

September 16
ScoopAble announces 3–5 finalist flavors.

September 16–20
Community voting takes place at ScoopAble.

September 21
The winning classroom and flavor are announced.

October
The winning flavor is made, featured at ScoopAble, and available for customers to try!

Who Can Enter?

The contest is open to classrooms from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Each classroom may submit one flavor entry, so students should work together to create one idea that represents their class.

Create Your Flavor

Each classroom submission should include:

  • School name

  • Teacher name

  • Grade

  • Flavor name

  • Ice cream base or flavor

  • Mix-ins, swirls, sauces, candies, cookies, or other ingredients

  • A short explanation of why your flavor should win

  • Contact email

Get creative! Your flavor can be inspired by fall, Halloween, October traditions, your classroom, your school, or something completely original.

How Finalists Are Chosen

ScoopAble will review all entries and select 3–5 finalist flavors.

Finalists will be chosen based on creativity, flavor combination, how well the idea can be turned into an actual ScoopAble ice cream flavor, and overall October inspiration.

Community Voting

Once the finalists are announced, it’s time to rally your school, families, friends, and community!

From September 16–20, customers can vote for their favorite finalist flavor at ScoopAble.

Each in-store purchase receives one vote.

The flavor receiving the most votes will become our winning Create the Flavor creation.

What Happens If Your Class Wins?

We make it!

The winning flavor will become a real ScoopAble limited-time flavor during October.

The winning classroom will also receive an ice cream party, plus some serious bragging rights for creating an official ScoopAble flavor.

We may also invite the winning class or teacher to be part of the flavor reveal and first taste.
