Volunteering with ScoopAble is about more than serving ice cream — it's about spreading joy, building community, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. Whether you're helping make ice cream, providing peer support for our employees, or lending a hand during a busy event, your time makes a real impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Crafting Ice Cream — make ice cream & premade desserts. 2‑hr shifts (~10am–12pm), weekly or bi‑weekly; training signed off by Amy. Lifting & standing.

Cake Decorator — 2–4 hrs weekly; experience strongly preferred; can lead to a paid position.
🤝
Scooper (for individuals with disabilities) — gain employment skills at the shop during seasonal & special events. 2‑hr shifts; free treat during shift (no tips/pay).

Scooper Buddy — provide extra 1:1 or backup peer support for our employees; may assist the Team Lead.

Marketing Team — social media, Google/Yelp/website updates, marketing design, photography & videography.

Event Specialist — schedule, plan & run private and public events and field trips under Amy's guidance.

Runners — transport ice cream for wholesale & special occasions (valid driver + reliable vehicle); deliver marketing materials.

Maintenance, Organization & Cleaning — cleaning/organizing projects, storefront décor & signage. Standing, lifting, bending, ladder work.

And more — outreach, POS upkeep, window painting, seasonal prep (pies, holiday boxes, decorating), one‑time event help, mascot "Scoop" appearances.
