Grinchmas Brings Big Smiles (and Scoops) to ScoopAble
Families packed ScoopAble for a festive evening of mischief and merriment during its recent Grinchmas at ScoopAble event, where holiday cheer met a little Grinchy fun. Guests were greeted with a fully themed experience that included time with the Grinch, cookie decorating chaos, cozy hot chocolate, and — of course — plenty of ice cream.
Children laughed as the Grinch playfully interrupted activities, posed for photos, and added his signature antics to the night. Each participant enjoyed sweet treats and seasonal flavors while parents captured memorable moments that felt straight out of Whoville.
The event transformed ScoopAble into a holiday destination, blending storytelling, interactive fun, and desserts into a unique Christmas tradition. For many families, Grinchmas wasn’t just a visit for ice cream — it was a magical holiday memory they’re already hoping to repeat next year. 🎄🍦

Employee of the month!
We changed this up for the first month of the year. Our “employee” of the month is a talented volunteer, Annalise!
If you attended our events in November and December, you would have met Annalise. She volunteered to help with those events in order to get some hands-on work experience. She demonstrated her natural ability to focus on the customers and always put them first.
In response to the experience, her family shared this:
"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for last night. My girl is beaming with pride. Your time and patience is such a gift. Please know that the heart and work that you tirelessly provide to the Down syndrome community makes the world better. And last night our family felt that deeply. We are grateful. Please know we are here if we can help."

Hello friends!
We made it to 2026! This has been a difficult, yet rewarding, journey. All I can feel is gratitude for all the amazing memories made in 2025.
There is no way I could mention every meaningful moment, but here are a few:
Grand Opening! We had hundreds of customers flood our space for an incredible Grand Opening weekend.
Our employees, Aaron and Simon, almost simultaneously, got the attention of influencers and the media and we were in the headlines in greater Cincinnati! This was followed shortly by an amazing article in the Loveland Lifestyle magazine highlighting our establishment.
Winning the “Hidden Hero” award at the Little Miami River Chamber Alliance Awards. I was honored to accept the award on behalf of the entire ScoopAble Ice Cream community. A community built on the value of inclusion, kindness, and compassion. From the employees to the customers, we no longer want to be hidden and to be a bright spot representing the power and strength of an inclusive community.
As we go into 2026, we can’t wait to continue to make a bigger impact in our community and for our disability community. Just like each individual with a disability needs a small village to create the best environment to make them the best they can be, our store needs our community to make us the best we can be. We share our highs and lows because we want you to help us make a difference and experience the enjoyment of achievement.
